Hi — I'm Julie.
I'm thirty-three. I got sick in an apartment I loved, spent four years being told my labs were fine, and eventually figured out it was mold, then histamine, then hormones, in that order. This is where I write it down: what I ate, what I took, who helped, what was a waste of money.
Nothing here is sponsored. The only links that earn me anything are on things I actually use, and they're all things I bought myself first.
New here? Read these three, in order: The mold part, The histamine part, The hormone part.

How I eat now: a normal week, not a protocol
What actually gets cooked in my kitchen on a Tuesday, including the shortcuts I refuse to feel bad about.
What I've been cooking
- Morning Mineral Broth — 25 minutes
- One-Pan Chicken Thighs with Butternut and Sage — 40 minutes
- Blueberry Breakfast Crumble — 35 minutes
- Freezer-First Turkey Meatballs — 20 minutes plus freezing
- Cooling Cucumber and Mint Cooler — 10 minutes
Where I'm at right now
Eating about forty foods instead of eleven. Still no leftovers older than a day. Working with my practitioner Heather on the hormone side, and mostly trying to remember the sentence she said early on: we are not going to out-supplement your nervous system.
